The Cobblefield Point Homeowners’ Association is comprised of a four-member Board of Directors, elected annually in May.  The current board members are:

Overview of Duties

Often, new board members would like an introductory guide that states what are their duties and by what authority do they operate.  Below is a collection of common duties performed by Board members.  You should be aware that the law differs between various states, and therefore our board seeks legal advice before acting.

  • Complying with Governing Documents and State Law
  • Maintaining the Common Areas
  • Managing Budgets and Assessments
  • Fiduciary Duty and the Business Judgement Rule
  • Adoption and Enforcement of Rules
  • Representing the Homeowners as a Whole
  • Keeping Books and Records (including)
    • Bylaws & Rules and regulations
    • Minutes of all board and owner meetings

    • Contracts, leases, and other agreements

  • Human Rights and Accommodations
